Overview
As a heavily forested satelite town, Wildwood is known for its long history of missing people.
History
The first disappearance happened on the 5th of June, 1978. The Wildwood Daily published an article about the Lundqvist's disappearance on the 6th of June, 1978. Police searches and local hunts returned empty-handed.

| August 1992 | Leanne Starling, Richard Moore, Cherry Moss | 19, 22, 18 | Almost exactly 10 years after the disappearance of Marshall Lakewood, obsessive fans Starling, Moore, and Moss went out into Wildwood to “follow in his footsteps”, even though it was unknown whether Lakewood ever set foot in the forest.
